As for Go On, I like Matthew Perry a lot. I liked Friends (everyone like Friends). I really enjoyed Studio 60 (smart shows do not last) and I liked Mr. Sunshine. I liked him on West Wing (I liked everyone on West Wing).

But I honestly cannot see where this new show can go (on).

Much worse then your 2 of 5. It was dead at the moment the Nana character feigned pulling down the top of the 9-year old girl saying something about her "boobies," and her associated interactions with that other little male kid. That garnered the modern equivalent of the gong (the DTV red button on the series list).

If they jettison the Nana character, I'm back in, at least for a bit longer.

It's just a ... ah, well, never mind. I agree with you. The gorge they are asking us to leap here at the start is pretty wide. I hope the bridge will be built over (a short) time.

For some reason, I always enjoy those shots of things we have come to know and love in a state of extreme neglect (my first remembrance of such a thing is from Logan's Run, in which Jenny Agutter appeared out of some automatic escort service machine wearing only...oops...way off topic.). But, in Revolution, 15 years was really, really hard on some things.

I remember the days when all the networks (all 3 of them) were BNNs. You got the same news no matter which channel you watched because believe it or not they actually took pride in strictly reporting only the facts. No opinions, no sensationalizing. You chose the channel depending on which anchor you liked best, not on which program best echoed your own opinion. Entertainment came after the news...not during.

Hilarious! I must say, though, I liked the opening ceremonies. They are always my favorite part of the Olympics. The show wasn't bad - it was just different. It was more like a movie than a show. Does that make sense? I was very entertained, and thoroughly enjoyed this pizza-and-movie-night substitution.
